The first glance of the large south window, shown on our home page, shows Christ. With arms outstretched to embrace all of humankind. He seems to be inviting “COME UNTO ME”. A more prolonged study will reveal that the figure is superimposed upon a gigantic hand of God, the Father, extending downward in blessing and giving. Even more nebulous is the dove of the Holy Spirit which is not a specific bird, but rather a shape abstracted from the descending dove. The whole symbol is based in a circle telling the message of the oneness of the triune God.
The blues of the background symbolize God’s love and also make the Christ seem to be ascending through space in which sun, moon, stars and planets can also be seen.
