Trinity Bread
The Ministry of Trinity Bread
The sharing of Trinity Bread is a ministry of welcoming, caring, sharing and inviting.
The Bread is a Gift!
We give you this bread knowing that life, faith, love and all our relationships are gifts! On the night of desertion and betrayal, our Lord Jesus took bread, blessed, broke and gave it to his disciples, saying: “This is my Body broken for you!” Then he gave his life. Every celebration of the Eucharist and the breaking of our “daily bread” reminds us of this giving of love and life. “I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “He who comes to me will never be hungry; he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35)
A Ministry of Welcome
We share this gift of Trinity Bread with visitors and new neighbors as a sign of welcome and hospitality. We are delighted that you are here! The bread extends the welcome of Christ and Jesus’ invitation to gather at His Table. If you enjoy this bread, we know you will enjoy the “Bread of Life.”
A Ministry of Caring
We share this gift of Trinity Bread as a sign of caring when someone is ill or faced with struggles or death. The bread becomes a symbol of taking time to care, to listen, to be present to and with one another. The bread and the persons sharing are vessels through which Christ comes to care, to share, to listen, to be present.
A Ministry of Inviting
We share this gift with visitors, inviting you to return to Trinity many times to feed upon the Word of God, the Bread of Life, and the fellowship of a Christian community. We invite you to share in our common life, our worship and our ministry. Our pastor is available to you and we welcome you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
